Pediatric Speech Therapist

Hours:           Part-time to full-time

Schedule:     Monday through Friday

Jump Start Pediatric Therapy seeks an experienced part-time or full-time pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) to join our team! Jump Start Pediatric Therapy is a therapist-owned multidisciplinary private practice specializing in the evaluation and treatment of children from birth through adolescence. Our skilled team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists has earned a strong reputation for providing high-quality care to children in our community. We take a holistic approach to supporting the medical, physical, cognitive, social, and emotional well-being of each child. Understanding that successful treatment partnerships are built on trust, our therapists are trained in Trust Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI).

Qualifications:

· Master’s degree from an accredited SLP program

· Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)

· Idaho SLP license or eligible

· Collaborative team spirit

· Excellent communication with ability to easily build rapport

· Effective organization, time management, and attention to detail.

· Desire for ongoing professional development

Skills and Experience:

· Prior outpatient SLP experience strongly preferred

· Pediatric speech and language conditions

· Pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders

· Orofacial myofunctional therapy

· AAC

· Gestalt language processing

· Executive functioning

· Trauma-informed care

Responsibilities:

· Work on-site in our outpatient clinic with occasional telehealth visits as needed.

· Perform evaluations, establish plans of care, and provide direct intervention for pediatric clients.

· Complete thorough and timely electronic documentation.

· Participate in ongoing professional development to support the population served.
