Pediatric Speech Therapist

Hours:           Part-time to full-time

Schedule:     Monday through Friday

Come work and play in beautiful Coeur d’Alene, Idaho! Our growing clinic is ready to welcome a SLP who shares our philosophy and passion for working with kids to join our team! Mentoring is available for a novice CCC-SLP with a demonstrated commitment to outpatient pediatric practice.

Jump Start Pediatric Therapy is a therapist-owned multidisciplinary private practice specializing in the evaluation and treatment of children from birth through adolescence. Our skilled team of PTs, OTs, and SLPs has earned a strong reputation for providing high-quality care to children in our community. We take a holistic approach to supporting the medical, physical, cognitive, social, and emotional well-being of each child. Understanding that successful treatment partnerships are built on trust, our therapists are trained in the principles of Trust Based Relational Intervention®.

Strong candidates will have the following qualifications:

• Master’s degree from an accredited SLP program
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Idaho professional SLP license or eligible
• Prior outpatient pediatric SLP experience
• Collaborative team spirit
• Excellent communication with ability to easily build rapport
• Desire for ongoing professional development

In addition to treating common pediatric speech and language disorders, the following skill sets are desired to successfully care for our patient population:

• Feeding and swallowing
• Orofacial myofunctional therapy
• AAC
• Executive functioning
• Trauma-informed care
