Pediatric Physical Therapist

Jump Start is a therapist-owned multidisciplinary outpatient clinic specializing in the evaluation and treatment of children from birth through adolescence. Our skilled team of PTs, OTs, and SLPs has earned a strong reputation for providing high-quality, collaborative care to children and families in our community. We are ready to welcome another pediatric physical therapist who shares our philosophy and passion for working with kids!

  • 10 individual treatment rooms
  • Six multi-point swings
  • Large multi-sensory gym with a rock wall, monkey bars, jump deck, swings, scooter ramp, ladder, cargo net, stairs, and more
  • LiteGait for body weight supported treadmill training
  • Plenty of open space for gait training, wheelchair mobility, bike riding, and obstacle courses.
• You will be trained in the principles of Trust Based Relational Intervention® to help you connect with kids, build trusting relationships with families, and seek to understand and successfully meet the needs behind challenging behaviors.
• You will accelerate your knowledge and professional development with our paid continuing education benefit, plus regular on-site clinical training hosted by your colleagues and our community partners.
• You will be able to maximize your impact with reasonable productivity expectations, a personal workstation including a laptop for point of service documentation, paid administrative time, and an amazing front office team to handle all scheduling and billing.

Located in one of the most beautiful and desirable areas in the country, Coeur D’Alene is a playground for outdoor enthusiasts. You’ll be minutes from hiking, biking, skiing, boating, kayaking, and camping. With clinic hours Monday through Friday from 8-5, your evenings and weekends are free to play!

Strong candidates will have the following qualifications:

• Master’s or doctoral degree from an accredited PT program
• Prior outpatient pediatric PT experience
• Idaho professional PT license or eligible
• Collaborative team spirit
• Excellent communication with ability to easily build rapport
• Desire for ongoing professional development
